Earlier this month members of the YCCBC team had the opportunity to attend the Youth Climate Fest hosted by City Hive Vancouver. City Hive's annual community gathering centred this year on youth climate action featured inspiring showcases of local youth-led climate initiatives and offered a chance for community connection.
One highlight was a workshop on climate communications led by YCCBC organizing team member Chloe Fraser. Additionally, YCCBC's South Coast Program Manager Sam Kutyauripo spoke with Anja Stajic the Permit Manager at Translink and and Renata Rovelo, the Project Manager of the climate action strategy for the Squamish Nation about their journeys to finding a climate career.
